The easiest way to Install WordPress on Subdomain

Probably you’ve searched everywhere on google on how to install wordpress on subdomain. you found the article that tells you how but it was just too complex.

Step 1: Create the subdomain

  1. Login to your hosting account Click on Subdomains

2. Enter the name you want to use for your sub-domain. You can see this from the screenshot below

3. Click on Create as seen in the above screenshot and you are done creating a subdomain. You can create as many as you want as provided by your hosting company.

Step 2: Installing WordPress on the Subdomain

Just as said earlier, am going to teach you the easiest way to install wordpress on subdomain. Keep reading:

Step 1: Login to Cpanel

Step 2: Right below Softaculous Apps Installer click WordPress as seen in the below screenshot

Step 3: If you have not been paying attention since, then you need to in this part.

Simply click install and fill in the necessary details, when you get to where you’d chose where to install wordpress make sure you select the subdomain you just created from the drop down. Below screenshot should make you understand better.

Finally Click Install and you are done.

As usual, to access your wordpress dashboard go to example.yourblog.com/wp-admin.

You are all done installing wordpress on subdomain.
