Important: How to Create a Privacy Policy for your Blog

According to Google’s term and conditions of adsense approval i.e before you can be approved to take part in adsense earnings you must have a privacy policy for your blog and apart from Adsense below are some reasons you need a privacy policy.

Why you need Privacy Policy

1. Adding a privacy policy to your blog makes your blog trusthworthy: Any professional blog you come across surely has a privacy policy which makes it more professional and Mature

2. It helps your readers take note of what you do with their data.

3. A privacy policy visibility on your page shows that you respect the privacy.

3. Most people who who share their personal info online like privacy as they would be giving out their emails, telephone contacts, etc.

Creating a Privacy Policy

You may be wondering “How do I start”?.

You don’t really have to start thinking on how to write a privacy Policy for your blog while you have Serprank Privacy Policy Generator

Alll you have to do is visit serprank.com and sign up – its for free. Then scroll down to where you will see Members tools page as shown in the screenshot below


*. Click on it, from the next options click Privacy Policy Generator for Google Adsense Publishers

Enter your blog Url and Contact email as shown below;

*. Click on ‘Generate my privacy policy’ you should now see your generated privacy policy, just below it click ‘Grab the HTML for this Privacy Policy’.

The HTML Code for that would be shown, you then have to copy it.

Adding the HTML code to your Blogger page

1. Go to your blogger Dashboard >Go to pages and create a new page naming it Privacy Policy

2. Click on HTML and paste the Code there > Click on options and set Readers comments to ‘Don’t allow’.

3. Click on publish and you are done!

    All you Just have to do is login to your blogger Dashboard click on Posts then edit the post you want to add a read more to.

    Highlight from the beginning of the text to where you want the readers to see on your homepage, from the writing tools select Jump break and click update.

    You should now see a read more in the Blog post. apply this to other posts you want to add a read more to.
